Hi, I’m Emily.
I’m a trying, rhyming, listening, knolling, learning, jumping, singing, dancing, writing, making, collecting, changing, storytelling, and thinking creature. These are a lot of words to describe me, but I find them to be the most accurate.
I hold a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and Art History from Ball State University. Engrossed in an ever-changing art community during my studies, I found a passion for culture, art history, design, communication, and the act of making. These interests come together to shape who I am.
Design and art are the lenses through which we see and shape our world, and my objective is to understand, interpret, and communicate with the world through my work. Through thoughtful storytelling, I create visual experiences that invite curiosity and build connection. My work spans branding, digital and print design, and community-focused campaigns. I care deeply about the “why” behind each project and approach every design with empathy, clarity, and intention - whether it’s a thank-you card or an exhibition concept.
When I’m not designing, I’m collaging, drifting through art museums, bookmarking niche websites, listening to music, (in which all must start an album from top to bottom) and writing down every stray thought. I’m always observing. Let’s make something meaningful, or nonsensical, whatever the moment calls for.
